First,
All that God is,
Chiseled out
The heavens,
The earth.

It came to pass,
The earth
Was desolate,
Void.

Darkness
Faced
The abyss.

The Spirit
Brooded
Upon
The surface.

God spoke,
"Be light."

Light.

God saw light.

God saw beauty.

God separated light
Away from
Darkness.

The darkness was called night.

The evening and morning were the first age.
