He recognized a feeling in his chest
That'd gone without a name since Yahweh'd raised
Him up from the red clay and passed a breath
In through his nose. Still, Adam could not describe
This feeling that he felt between heartbeats
That lingered there just underneath his rib
Till Yahweh closed his eyes and made him sleep.
Alone, he drifted to a dreamy world
Where emptiness inside himself poured out
His chest and took the form of naked girl,
Who wrapped her arms about him and caressed
His bearded face. Then he with sudden shout
Awoke, and named the feeling loneliness.
