Eleven

My son,

If you listen to your fathers' instructions,

If you heed the warnings of your mothers',

Then you will dwell in safety, 

And the storm will not touch your tent.

The way of the righteous prospers,

For God upholds those who walk in His ways.

Your foot will not fall, and your right hand will hold firm.

Blessed is he who walks by faith,

Who does not listen to the scornful,

Who takes no pleasure in evil.

Blessed is he whose mouth PROCLAIMS God's favor,

And who has not entered a covenant with Death. 

Look upon the Lord's face and live, my son. 

In God may your heart delight.
