Abram's mother,
Heaven's dew,
Lamb of God,
Who knew you?

There he suckled
At your breast
As your lips
Upon him pressed.

Holy Mother,
Abram son,

Chosen Lord,
Seed of Jacob,
Your reward.

Father Abram,
Father Christ,
Father Spirit,
Mother, nice.

Where was Mary?
What was Eve?
On whose breast
Did Abram feed?

Abram met.

What things said?
From Prophet's mouth
To Abram's head?

What was shared
Of the Divine
Between these souls
With bread and wine?

Holy Mother,
How prepared,
Abram son
To meet Him there?

To face the Lord,
And bend his knee,
And offer son
On burning tree?

Lamb of God
Who bore this son
And fed him where
Your milk flowed from,

How did he learn
To trust this man
Who brought this news
Of Divine Plan

To make of him
A nation great
Through David's trust
And Prophets' faith?

Through Ismael's cries,
The Prophet's woes,
From Abram's staff
Two nations rose.

The Unsung Hero
Of the world,
The one whose arms
Did Abram hold.
